BEST-OF-THREE SERIES VS CELTICS CROSSOVER GAMING

INDIANAPOLIS –Pacers Gaming saw its record drop to 4-8 Friday night losing its best-of-three game NBA 2K League series to Boston, 2-0 (66-59, 94-68). The Pacers will play next on Wednesday, July 15 vs. Wizards District Gaming at 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, July 16 at 7:00 p.m. vs. Raptors Uprising GC.
In Game 1 the Pacers got off to a strong start, taking a 23-15 advantage after one quarter. But Boston outscored Indy 25-14 in the second to take a three-point margin at halftime (40-37). The Pacers outscored the Celtics 20-18 in the third period and trailed by one after three quarters, 58-57. The Celtics, who got 38 points from oFAB, outscored the Pacers 18-14 in the fourth to take the 66-59 win. Jomar led the Pacers with 20 points. Swizurk added 18 and NateKahl scored 10. Bobby Buckets had 13 rebounds for the Blue & Gold. Boston was 8-19 from three in the contest while the Pacers were 2-4.
Looking for a sweep of the series, Boston went out to a three-point lead after one period and then outscored Indiana 25-9 in the second quarter of Game 2 to hold a commanding 19-point margin (48-29) at intermission. The Celtics continued to pull away in the second half, outscoring the Pacers in both the third (16-14) and fourth (30-25) quarters. Boston outrebounded Indiana 26-19. oFAB once again led the Celtics with 38 points to go along with 17 assists in the 94-68 triumph. Swizurk led Indiana with 19 tallies followed by WoLF with 16 points; Jomar with 15 points and eight assists; and NateKahl with 12 points. Bobby Buckets registered 14 rebounds to go along with six assists and six points.
