FEBRUARY 28, 2024 – The seventh season of the NBA 2K League begins Wednesday and Pacers Gaming, one of the original franchises in 2K, will start its 2024 campaign with two games tonight – 6:45 PM vs. Grizz Gaming and 8:15 PM vs. Bucks Gaming.

The Pacers will have a new coach in ’24 – former NBA 2K League player and coach Joel Lazu (Joe-L La-ZOO) takes over for Cody Parrent, who served as Coach and GM for the Pacers for the past six seasons. Four of the Pacers five starters return from a year ago and are joined by new point guard, COOKS (Mike Campbell). COOKS came to Indiana in the off-season in a blockbuster four-team, four-player, eight-draft pick trade. Two years ago, COOKS led Bucks Gaming to the 5v5 league title.

The structure of the 2024 NBA 2K League season will differ from years past. The league will play all its 3v3 competition first (from Feb. 28 through the playoffs in late April). Then, 5v5 play will begin on May 8 with the championship concluding in late June.

Separated into 3v3 and 5v5 splits, the season will unfold as follows:

  1. SLAM OPEN: Feb. 28 – March 16
  2. SWITCH OPEN: March 20 – April 6
  3. STEAL OPEN: April 19 – 20
  4. NBA 2K League 3v3 Playoffs presented by Google Pixel: April 24 – 27
