PACERS GAMING CLOSE OUT THEIR 3V3 SEASON, LOSING 0-3 TO DUX INFINITOS

INDIANAPOLIS (April 19, 2024) – Pacers Gaming saw the 3v3 portion of its NBA 2K League season come to an end Friday night with a 0-3 series sweep loss to DUX Infinitos of Mexico City in THE STEAL Tournament. Coach Joel Lazu’s Pacers end the 3v3 year with an 8-7 series mark and a 31-29 record in games played. The Blue & Gold will prep for the more-traditional 5v5 campaign, which begins on May 8 against the same DUX team.

Despite 14 points from leading scorer COOKS (Mike Campbell), the Pacers lost Game 1, 21-19. COOKS was six-of-six from the field, including two-of-two beyond the arc. WARKNOCKS led Mexico City with eight points. GAZULLI led DUX with 13 points enroute to a 23-19 triumph in Game 2. COOKS scored nine with five assists while JAYSNAGS (Julio Laboy) had eight points. DUX took the clinching Game 3, 22-18 behind 11 points from WARKNOCKS. COOKS led the Pacers with 11 points on five-of-five shooting. BIG REIGN (Blaine Wilson) chipped in with five points and three rebounds.
