PACERS GAMING FINISH 2-1 IN FIRST “THE TURN” GROUP WEEK

INDIANAPOLIS (May 31, 2024) – Pacers Gaming’s hopes for a 3-0 week came to a halt Friday night with a 76-60 home loss to Bucks Gaming in the NBA 2K League 5v5 THE TURN Tournament. The Blue & Gold (4-5) had won its two games on the road over the past two evenings. Next contest for Indiana is Wednesday, June 5 at 7 PM against Lakers Gaming.
The Pacers were led by CEEZ (Caesar Martinez) with 17 points and JAYSNAGS (Julio Laboy) who netted 14. SCOREO (Devin Lawrence) had 12 points and eight rebounds while COOKS (Mike Campbell) had 10 tallies and dished six assists. CP led the Bucks winning effort with 31 points and nine assists while JOHHNYRED added 29.
Bucks Gaming stormed out to a 16-10 first quarter lead as CP scored 10. The Paces battled back to pull within one at halftime, 31-30 as JAYSNAGS scored nine in a 20-15 Indiana quarter. But Bucks Gaming got 12 points from CP in the third and outscored Indiana 25-13 to lead 56-43 after three. A 20-17 Milwaukee fourth quarter finished the night.
