PACERS GAMING LOSE 0-3, MOVE DOWN TO LOWER BRACKET IN THE SLAM OPEN

INDIANAPOLIS (March 13, 2024) – No. 3-seed Pacers Gaming was upset 3-0 by No. 19-seed Gen.G Tigers of Shanghai Wednesday night as bracket play continued in the NBA 2K League 3v3 THE SLAM OPEN Tournament. The Pacers, now 4-2, will face No. 9-seed Warriors Gaming Squad on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in a win-or-go-home best-of-five series.

The Tigers claimed Game 1, 22-19 as GALLOW scored 14 points and LAWRICH netted eight for Shanghai. COOKS (Mike Campbell) led Indiana with 11 points while CHESS (Kory Taylor) added eight points and four rebounds. Shanghai claimed Game 2, 21-17 despite seven points from COOKS and six from CHESS for Indiana. JAYSNAGS (Julio Laboy) scored four for the Pacers. GALLOW led the Tigers with nine points as Shanghai was nine-of-ten from the field. The Tigers completed the series sweep with a 23-18 triumph in Game 3 as Shanghai was 10-of-13 from the field and Indiana was eight-of-13. GALLOW had 11 and LAWRICH netted nine points for the Tigers. JAYSNAGS was the top Pacers scorer with eight points, COOKS added seven and CHESS contributed three points, two rebounds and three assists.
