PACERS GAMING LOSE 1-3, NOW 1-1 IN THE SWITCH OPEN

INDIANAPOLIS (March 21, 2024) – Pacers Gaming dropped a disappointing 3-1 series to Lakers Gaming Thursday night as first week play continued in the NBA 2K League 3v3 THE SWITCH OPEN Tournament. The (1-1 in THE SWITCH, 6-4 overall) Pacers will play two games Friday: 6:00 PM vs. Mavs Gaming; and 7:30 PM vs. T-Wolves Gaming.

The Lakers took Game 1, 22-18 in the best-of-five series holding Indiana’s leading scorer COOKS (Mike Campbell) to four points. COOKS averages 11 PPG. CHESS (Kory Taylor) led the Pacers with nine points and JAYSNAGS (Julio Laboy) added five tallies. Veteran SHIFTYKAI led LA with 15 points. The Pacers dropped a heartbreaker in Game 2, 23-21 as SHIFTYKAI again led LA with 12 points. The Laker defense continued its fine effort holding COOKS to six points. JAYSNAGS led the Pacers with 13 points on five-of-five shooting from the field. The Blue & Gold bounced back to win Game 3, 22-18 as COOKS went for 12 and CHESS had 10 points. KRAZY led LA with 10 points. The Lakers captured the series with a 21-11 triumph in Game 4 as VOOVC paced LA with 13 points. COOKS led Indiana with nine points.
