PACERS GAMING VS GLITCHY – THE SLAM 3V3 POOL PLAY

INDIANAPOLIS – Pacers Gaming moved to 2-0 in the NBA 2K League 3v3 THE SLAM Tournament with a resounding 3-1 series victory over Glitchy on Wednesday night. The Pacers will play Friday at 8 PM vs. Kings Guard Gaming to complete the first week of pool play in the event.

The Pacers dominated in their three wins vs. Glitchy, taking Game 1, 23-12, winning Game 3, 23-9 and then sealing the series with a 21-8 triumph in Game 4. Glitchy won Game 2 in a nail-biter, 21-19. In Game 1, Vandi (Zach Vandivier) – the Pacers leading scorer in 3v3 action – led the way with 15 points on 6 of 7 shooting, followed by Lavish (Andron Thomas) with five and WoLF (Bryant Colon) with three. In the Game 2 loss, Vandi scored 10 points with four assists while WoLF had nine tallies on 4 of 4 shooting. The Pacers roared back in Game 3 with a tremendous team defensive effort, holding Glitchy to nine points as Vandi had 17 points on 6 of 7 shooting (including 5 of 6 from the three-point arc), and WoLF had a great overall game with four points on 2 of 2 shooting, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal and a block.

In the clinching Game 4, the Pacers were even better defensively, holding Glitchy to only eight points. Vandi went for 11 points on 4 of 4 shooting and Lavish was brilliant with eight points on 3 of 3 shooting. WoLF had two points, two assists and one steal. Box scores below…
