INDIANAPOLIS (June 2, 2023) – Pacers Gaming split two games Friday to finish the Group Play Round of the NBA 2K League’s THE TIPOFF Tournament presented by AT&T with a 3-3 record.  The Pacers will await seeding from the league this weekend which will determine next week’s slate of games for the Blue and Gold.  The Pacers fell to undefeated (5-0) Warriors Gaming Squad, 87-61 before coming back in the nightcap to defeat Jazz Gaming, 78-63.

In the first game the Pacers fell behind early to the Warriors and could never catch up.  Golden State led by 20 at halftime and outrebounded Indiana, 26-9 in the game.  The Pacers were led by CHESS (Kory Taylor) who matched his career-high with 27 points.  GREENLIGHT (Dylan Sanderson) added 15 points and a season-high nine assists while BIG REIGN (Blaine Wilson) contributed 10 points and six rebounds.  KENNYGOTWORK led the Warriors with 25 while CB13 had 21 points and 11 assists for the victors.

After matching his career-high in the first game of the evening, CHESS did even better in the second game of the night as he set a new career record with 29 points in leading the Pacers past the Jazz, 78-63.  He also dished a season-high eight assists. BIG REGIN scored 22 points to go along with nine rebounds.  JAYSNAGS (Julio Laboy) scored 12 points and pulled down four boards while GREENLIGHT scored 12 tallies and had six assists.  The Pacers took control early in the game against the Jazz and never looked back, leading after every quarter and out-rebounding the Jazz 16-10.
