PACERS GAMING WIN, MAKING THEM 3-1 IN “THE TURN” GROUP PLAY

INDIANAPOLIS (June 5, 2024) – With a remarkable fourth quarter, Pacers Gaming broke open a tight contest and won its third game in its last four outings Wednesday night with a 91-70 triumph over Lakers Gaming in the NBA 2K League 5v5 THE TURN Tournament. The Pacers (5-5 overall) will play Thursday at 9 PM against Bucks Gaming and Friday at 8 PM against Mavs Gaming.

The Pacers trailed Los Angeles after one quarter, 21-18 before using a 26-16 second period to take a seven-point, 44-37 advantage at halftime. The Lakers pulled close, outscoring Indiana 20-16 to trail by only three points after three quarters, 60-57. That’s when the party started. Indiana’s offense went nuts: scoring 31 points in the fourth quarter and holding LA to only 13 to run way with the 21-point victory. COOKS (Mike Campbell), who had 19 points at the half but went scoreless in the third quarter, got cookin’ with 11 points and three assists in the final period. SCOREO (Devin Lawrence) added eight points and five rebounds; JAYSNAGS (Julio Laboy) scored seven points with three boards and SUBGOATED (Josh Ferreira) added five tallies in the explosive final quarter of true action.

COOKS ended his night with 30 points and seven assists; SCOREO had 24 points, 10 rebounds and five assists; JAYSNAGS added 16 points (on 7-7 from the field shooting) and eight rebounds; SUBGOATED added 12 points and super playmaker and new addition CEEZ (Caesar Martinez) continued to sparkle with 15 assists, two steals and nine points.

YOOVC led Lakers Gaming with 21 points followed by SHIFTYKAII with 16 points and 15 assists and KRAZY with 15.
