PACERS GAMING WINS SECOND STRAIGHT

INDIANAPOLIS (May 10, 2024) – Pacers Gaming won its second straight game and raised its record to 2-1 with an impressive 93-74 victory over Pistons GT Friday night in the NBA 2K League THE TIPOFF Tournament.  Point guard COOKS (Mike Campbell) led Indiana with 41 points and 15 assists.  SCOREO (Devin Lawrence) added 14 points and nine rebounds; CHESS (Kory Taylor) netted 14 and SUBGOATED (Josh Ferriera) and JAYSNAGS (Julio Laboy) each tallied 12 as ALL five Pacers Gaming players reached double figures.

COOKS scored 23 in the first quarter to pace Indiana to a 27-21 lead after one.  ANT scored seven for Detroit in the second period as the Pistons outscored the Pacers 19-18 to pull within five at intermission, 45-40.  The Blue & Gold pulled away for good in the third quarter as COOKS scored nine and Indiana outscored Detroit 22-15 to take a 67-55 lead after three.  The Pacers kept the pressure on in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Pistons 26-19 to claim the 93-74 victory. BSMOOVE led Detroit with 24 points and MONA added 18.
