WIN STREAK STOPPED SHORT AT THREE

EDDIE WHITE – Pacers Gaming had its three-game winning streak snapped Thursday night losing 2-0 (73-59, 65-54) to Bucks Gaming in a best-of-three series. The Pacers, now 4-4 will participate in next week’s NBA 2K League The TIPOFF Tournament presented by AT&T. The tournament will run from June 16-19 and feature all 23 league teams. Pacers Gaming is slated to play Warriors Gaming Squad on June 16 at 6:00 PM and Grizz Gaming at 10:00 PM.

In Game 1, the Pacers led by five after the first quarter (21-16) and by three at the half (36-33). But the Blue & Gold got outscored 17-6 in the third and 23-17 in the fourth. WoLF led the Pacers with 14 points, followed by Swizurk with 13, BOHIO with 12 (six assists) and Jomar with 11 points (11 rebounds, five assists). The Pacers got out-rebounded 25-14 and had 13 turnovers to the Bucks’ 11. Regg had 31 to lead Milwaukee.

In Game 2, the Pacers trailed by three after the first quarter (18-15) and at halftime (28-25). The Pacers rallied to tie 41-41 after three periods. The Bucks outscored Indiana 24-13 in the fourth to complete the sweep. WoLF again was the leading scorer for Pacers Gaming with 16 points followed by Jomar who had 14 points and 17 rebounds. BOHIO added 11 points and ten assists. Swizurk had 10 points. Regg had 42 for the Bucks. The Pacers suffered 14 turnovers in the loss.
